Failing to focus on the digital age that has eroded it's traditional business, has resulted in Eastman Kodak filing for bankruptcy in the US to give it some breathing space, to "restructure the business".

In a digital age, there is very little call for film and Kodak have had to close plants and laboratories, while reducing the head count from 70,000 to 19,000 over the last 8 years.

It is business as usual for Kodak companies operating here in Europe.
